Banksia spinulosa Stumpy Gold

A decorative, low growing shrub reaching on average 50cm high and 1.2m wide. Features large, bright, gold coloured 'candle' flowers well displayed from mid-autumn till early spring. Highly attractive to native nectar feeding birds.

To thrive, 'Stumpy Gold' needs well drained soil, full to partial sun, and occasional deep watering during dry spells. Mulching and light fertilisation can also improve growth and flowering. Hardy to moderate frosts.
