A large evergreen shrub with lush, shiny, dark leaves. Its vibrant crimson flowers bloom from early winter to mid spring. It likes morning sun and some shade and should be protected from hot afternoon sun and dry winds. Perfect for planting under large trees, with well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Great for hedges or in planters.
