Mint - Corsican Mentha requienii
Corsican mint (Mentha requienii) is a tiny, low-growing perennial herb prized for its strong mint fragrance and dense mat-forming habit. Native to Mediterranean regions, it features miniature round leaves and delicate purple flowers. Often used between paving stones or in terrariums, it thrives in moist, partially shaded conditions. Its refreshing scent also flavours teas, desserts, and the liqueur crème de menthe.
