Thymus serpyllum var. albus Trailing herb with small, highly aromatic oval leaves. Masses of tiny pure white flowers almost completely cover the plant in spring and summer. Ideal ground cover for sunny banks and borders and in containers. Use fresh or dried leaves to flavour soups, casseroles and stews. Grow in an open, sunny position in moist, well drained soil.
